Paul Hickman had the pleasure of working with GPY&R superstar team Annie Egan (Award School Winner 2008) and Ryan Fitzgerald (Award School Winner 2009) on this Defense Force Recruitment campaign for the Army. They stuck their heads together and built the skyline themselves here in studio. Great teamwork with a fabulous result. The client was especially pleased. Three cheers for everybody.

There’s been some serious food shoots in the studio over the last couple of weeks. And then after the shoots, there’s been some serious eating. It was yum. Just like these shots.
These two were styled by Lisa La Barbera and shot by Paul Hickman.

These were styled by Renee Hodskiss and shot by Clare Plueckhahn.

These were shot by Lisa Cross.

Perks of the job. Lighting test shots. Charming. The Mancini brides look a whole lot better on this set than ‘Chipmunk Fran’ did. There there Franny. Just remember the camera always puts on a few pounds. Good work on this one Pauly.

Paul and Clare went down to Phillip Island last week to take some shots for a Surf Life Saving folio piece that we’re doing with Craig Scrivner at JWT . They couldn’t have asked for better conditions. There was a killer of a rip brewing to the left of the flags. Mike our assistant lifesaver said that if he ever saw anyone running into something like that he’d be off his chair and on to them like a rashvest. Sam AKA ‘The Bogan’ (aptly named so by his loving father) did a great job of running to his grave as the model.
