Our assistant producer/marketer Fran is a hand model. This isn’t her first brush with fame. Her milky white hands have been on Nab billboards nationally for the last 4 months. Look out for the latest part of the campaign that Thom shot for Clems around town.

If you haven’t heard already C.I.’s Clare and Fran are two thirds of a team working on a girls surf film called First Love. To be launched in April at the Bells Beach Rip Curl Pro, this film takes a look at womens surfing through the lives of three Phillip Island locals – Nikki van Dijk, India Payne & Jess Laing. The doco also compares the surf culture here in Victoria, the beginning of commercial surf, and Hawaii the birthplace of the sport. Tovo had the pleasure of accompanying Clemenger BBDO as the stills photographer on their rip snorter of a TV Shoot for the new Fosters Campaign ‘Dry Dreams’. What a belter. Check out the TVC’s below. We love Rick Davies (the actor in the skeet shooting one) because he’s the best – and because he’s an old friend of Franny’s. And he once had to be in a ‘Women’s Sanitary Item’ advertisement. And to come back and be in one of the top beer ads after that is . . . well it’s pretty impressive, to say the least. Check out the behind the scenes footage on the Dry Dreams website. Love it. Chris Tovo teamed up with Illuminati CSD for this big Heist shoot. Paddy Puddock painted faces while Kim Ellmer applied her styling eye. Art Director Ashley Braun just drooled at the models. Narh. He worked a little too. And came up with the concept. And he was cool. Hehe. Check out the bling bling broaches on the vest of the second girl. Shaaawwwing. There’s a seahorse. A SEAHORSE. How cool is that. Fran wants one floating on her top. Twinkle twinkle.
